Catching the Worm

The modernised railway is a transport practicality; a commute. And, the beauty of the journey is far from actualised. The 5.53am train on a winter morning is a far different journey from the classic exciting railway adventure. Some romanticise the idea of catching a train at an absurd time and embarking on such a journey, however the reality of this trip every day is far from it’s idealised concept. Its cold, its dark, and there’s a good chance you’re either on the brink of falling asleep or pumped full of caffeine. Regardless, you don’t care about the journey, it’s the destination (and time of) that matters.
