Scale

Scale is an afterthought of many beautiful landscape photographs, the image cannot depict the sheer enormity of the pictured landscape, and if it does so it is often not noticed immediately and only when a recognizable object from the man-made world, or humans themselves are spotted. When in actuality, in the presence of the landscape the scale is completely overwhelming and undoubtedly the first impression of the location. To simulate a more accurate feeling of being absorbed by the grand size of a landscape, we must first notice the scale.
